2012 CALENDAR UPDATES!

Hey all Leaders! Wanted to let you know that the 2012 sectional calendar has been updated. There are a couple of additions, and a couple changes you need to be made aware of on the new update.

One of the updates is the announcement of a WCO Training Camp, coming April 27-28, 2012 in Radcliff, KY. For ALL leaders needing this training to transition to the new Leadership system (if you've never taken it, you need it), this is the ONLY training scheduled in the region this year, so you might want to start making plans now to attend.

Cost for the event is $3 (Lunch not provided). Snack bar will be available.

It has been my pleasure to serve the section for the past couple of years.� You all have been supportive and I�ve enjoyed working with each of you.� But it is time for this good time to end for me.

I am pleased to announce that Dave Rose has agreed to assume leadership of the section.� Dave has worked diligently for the past several years on the sectional staff.� He is a capable leader and I know you will enjoy working with him.

As this change in sectional leadership takes place there are also many changes taking place in Royal Rangers.� And just as �good leaders are critical to the success of these changes, you are critical to the success of the section. �Let me encourage you to remain faithful to what God has started in you as you have answered His call to Royal Rangers.

Upcoming events you need to know about

Attention all Commanders (err.... I mean Outpost Coordinators and Group Leaders)...

Here are some dates you need to take mind of during the next few weeks. There are several training sessions locally you may want to take advantage.

First Aid/CPR Class: Two different sessions are being held September 24 at Miamisburg AG, and November 5 at Living Word Church in Vandalia. See the Calendar for more information on times and costs associated with the classes

Ranger Basics - October 15th at Living Word Church. Cost is $5 to cover handouts and materials. (Bring your new Ranger Leaders manuals with you to the class)

Ranger Essentials - November 12th at Living Word Church. Cost is $5 to cover handouts and materials. (Bring your new Ranger Leaders manuals with you to the class)

Also, don't forget the NRMC in Tiffin OH on Sept 30-Oct 2, and the WCO in Northville MI on November 11-12.
